In 1996 the company completed construction of its ultra modern, KGMP-approved
pharmaceutical formulation plant in Daeduk and started business activity with several
transdermal patches. |

Daedeok Plant, Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices is an up-to-date
manufacturing facility equipped to produce novel DDS formulations
and medical devices.
The plant was established in July 1996, and approved KGMP
manufacturer
in November 1996. The plant also gained ISO9001
accredition in August 1999. |

The Samyang Biopharmaceuticals R&D Center aims to become world
class research center for research in drug delivery systems.
Utilizing many experiences and
know-how within the Samyang group
in the field of polymer chemistry and fine
chemicals and also with a close collaboration with international partners,
the center is making rapid
progress in developing several innovative dosage forms to deliver
drugs more conveniently, efficiently and accurately. |
